FULL VIEW PLEASE!

Uhhhh, yeah, excuse me while I flee for my life from extremely pissed-off gamers. XD *runs*

So for anyone who DOESN'T know who this is, this is my female version of Vergil Sparda from the Devil May Cry game series. (See here for what he originally looks like: [link] ) The character himself is... in a word, extremely badass. Therefore, I wanted the girl version to look kind of like an ice-cold bitch. XD Anyways, I know people have drawn him as a girl before but no one's ever messed with his hair, so I thought it'd be fun to give "her" a strict ponytail to suit her personality. Probably doesn't even look like the real Vergil anymore. Ahhh, well.

So, on a more serious note, this took me what felt like a year and a half. (It was probably closer to a month, though.) This is also my first big digital piece so I kind of went crazy with it and killed myself trying to make things perfect. I had no idea that I would go QUITE this far when I started out, so that's why the lineart looks kind of crude and... lame. Remind me next time not to have lines for the skin. <_< >_> The background and the vest both have textures on it, but I can't remember specifically how I did them. XD (The base of the background is this picture of fire: [link] It ended up looking like something straight out of the game, which makes me super happy. ^^)

OMG THAT GODDAMN AMULET MUST DIE!!! >< Despite all the crap they spew out about it in the games, there's next to NOTHING in terms of reference for that amulet (Dante doesn't even wear it most of the time) so I had to get a really bad screenshot that ended up with vergil's hand over half of it. *SIGH*

So anyways, despite the fact that digital coloring is PAINFUL, I kinda sorta maybe want to do it again. This was tiring though, so I probably won't go this far into a drawing for a while. At least it was a good experience.
